Meet the Team
Brenda Peterman
Senior Account Executive
When Brenda Peterman was a kid, she wanted to be a programmer when she grew up. A voracious technophile, she enjoyed the problem-solving aspects of writing code. But she's also a self-proclaimed "people" person, and doesn't like being confined to a desk all day. Now, you could say she has her dream job - she talks about technology – to clients and anyone who will listen.
Brenda is one of the newest members of the RecordFusion team. She joined the company as a Senior Account Executive in September 2006. The software she is so passionate about is RecordFusion's CountyFusion platform.
"It's really nice to represent the best system out there," she said. "So I feel really good talking about it."
A perpetual go-getter, Brenda spends a lot of time on the road. Her chief responsibilities are to meet with recorders and clerks in the field and find out what issues they have with their workflow. On days when she works out of her home office in Atlanta, GA, she calls dozens of recorders and clerks and asks them if they're happy with the system they have. And if they are, she asks what features would make their lives easier.

Hailing from a previous company that focused solely on eRecording, Brenda enjoys touting the benefits of RecordFusion's total land records system. Ironically, the way she first heard about RecordFusion was watching a demo of their system at a trade show.
"I really liked what I saw" she said. "I asked a lot of questions of clerks who saw the demo, and they were impressed that it was such a customizable system."
She contacted Bill Welge, President of RecordFusion, and he was equally impressed with her. Shortly after that meeting, the job was hers. Now she's doing her own demos.
Brenda is one of RecordFusion's eRecording specialists. Although it's a long way off from where she started – 15 years in applications performance monitoring and Internet security – much of her previous IT knowledge has helped her in her current field.
Many smaller counties are hesitant to move to eRecording systems, but Brenda has seen through enough successful implementations with RecordFusion that she knows how to dispel the myth that taking on a new system must be painful.
""I think people are realizing that eRecording is coming along a lot faster than they expected. It's being pushed in legislation and people are getting more educated. With the advent of automation and the Internet, people are feeling more comfortable with technology," she said. "The technology is going to continue to advance and make things easier for the clerks and recorders."
