RecordFusion to Ensure Safety of South Carolina Land Records
RecordFusion, a provider of records management solutions, will bring its technology to South Carolina. Information about the company’s land records management services was recently unveiled to the Palmetto Land Title Association (PLTA), the professional association for the title and land records industry in South Carolina. PLTA points out that South Carolina has the same potential for disaster as the areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. One member said, “We are very concerned about how our register of deeds and other governmental offices would fare should we have a similar catastrophe. The current state of land records management needs to be addressed as soon as possible. Backup systems and standards must to be established across the state.” RecordFusion said its solution for the land records management protects land records and allows for more effective use and management of this information.
