New Castle, PA – November 7, 2007 – RecordFusion, a leading provider of end-to-end records management solutions, has successfully implemented its CountyFusion marriage licensing system in DuPage County, IL.
DuPage County is the first Illinois county to implement the marriage licensing module of CountyFusion’s Complete Licensing & Permitting Solution. In addition to marriage licenses, the solution is also capable of managing business and professional licenses, land use planning and zoning permits, and building applications, permits, and inspections.
Upon submission of a marriage license application to DuPage County, CountyFusion’s solution automatically generates a secure PDF file of the completed documents, including the marriage license, certificate, permit, and receipt, all of which can be printed with a barcode. Once a couple is married and the signed license is returned to the county, the county staff simply scans the barcode and the solution automatically brings up the couple’s file for completion.
The CountyFusion solution also automatically indexes both the bride’s and groom’s names, allowing county employees to quickly and easily search for licenses and permits using the solution’s powerful search engine. The system then automatically generates expiration letters to applicants, as well as monthly reports to the state, including tallies of issued and registered licenses and the fees collected from them.
The CountyFusion solution’s automation of the marriage license application process will help save county employee’s valuable time and effort in manually processing and searching for applications and related documents, which will result in savings to the county and its residents.
